Sky Blade

Forty centuries before iron was forged, a star fell into the soft ground above a small village.

The son of a conquering warlord refuses to kill at his initiation. Cast out to his mother's matriarchal people, he and the daughter who will lead them hunt a blade fallen from the sky — the only weapon that can answer his father, and the only thing that will decide whose people survive.

THE STUDIO

Star Stone Studios is an independent film studio. We make pictures the way the old makers made tools — by hand, on purpose, with the weight of the thing in mind. Each frame is shaped, not assembled. Each story is allowed to land before it explains itself.

THE FIRST FILM

Sky Blade is our first picture. A Chalcolithic-era story of inheritance, sacrifice, and a meteorite that becomes a blade. It begins in a village that does not yet know its own name and ends with a son standing where a mother once stood. The trailer arrives soon.

THE CRAFT

We work in long sessions, with reference, with restraint. The tools change. The discipline does not. A shot earns its place. A line earns its silence. Nothing on screen exists because the software made it easy.
